LOST & FOUND
All sorts of items are found at the park every week. Mostly, we find rabies tags, ID tags, leashes, and sunglasses. Sometimes, however, we have found jewelry, reading glasses, keys, and various electronic items. Most items we find are simply hung on the fence in the area between the two entrance gates (look for the yellow Lost & Found sign). Items that are more valuable, like electronic devices, are typically stored in our tool shed or are taken home by a Board member until the item is claimed.
If you have lost something at the dog park and do not find it hanging on the fence, please call Laine at 678-234-4428.
Other items that have been found in the park are usually hung on the fence on your left as you enter the park in the "holding area" (where you leash/unleash your dogs).
Found items currently hanging on the fence include a number of rabies tags (I generally call the Vet office that issued the tag and attempt to contact the owner), ID tags (again, I call the number on the tag), and numerous pairs of reading- and sun- glasses.
For items that are more valuable (like Bluetooth-type devices, cell phones, etc.), I take them home with me for safe-keeping.
